| Sheffield Office Has Moved |
Sheffield Centre Moves To Improved Office SpaceThe Sheffield Team has moved to take up residence in the Zest Centre in Netherthorpe Our new Sheffield Centre provides us with a perfect venue for our work in Sheffield.
We are excited about the opportunity to work within such a fantastic Youth & Community setting, we are involved with Zest through the Sheffield Youth Consortium so being based in their premises offers us a great opportunity to develop this relationship. Our Staff Team have a fantastic shared office, and we are sharing the ‘space’ with Lisa Baker and her team running Zest’s Youth Programme. Access to our part of the Centre, is via the ‘blue’ side door towards the back of the building on Daniel Hill, just before the Community Garden, which is also owned by Zest and will be transformed during the next few months. The Young People’s space includes a training room that provides us with a flexible space for delivering a range of indoor learning activities, a chill-out space and a kitchen. We have a We have excellent access, within a 5 minute walk, to nearby outdoor activity venues, such as the Permanent Orienteering course, bouldering on the Artificial Boulder and large open green space in the park at the Ponderosa. We have parking outside the centre for our minibus and so easy access is possible to activity venues in the North of Sheffield, such as Wharncliffe Woods & Crag, Activities at the Thornbridge Centre and around Underbank, Midhope & Langsett reservoirs, also giving access to Midhope, Broomhead & Bradfield Moors. We also have the rest of the Peak District National Park on the doorstep, with the Rivelin Valley only 15 minutes away and Ladybower and the Snake Pass a further 15 minutes away.
