Entry to Employment

Entry to Employment is a training programme for young people who are considering further training such as college or apprenticeships, or for those who are looking for employment.

Target Clients

Young people aged 16-18 not in education, employment or training (NEET) or those identified as at serious risk of becoming NEET.

Programme Format

3 full days a week for 26+ weeks.

Programme Content

Much of our group work involves challenging activities outdoors to improve young people's ability in problem solving, effective functioning within a team, self awareness and lateral thinking. Indoor skills development focuses particularly on kinaesthetic learning. All these activities are designed to develop confidence and skills which can be transferred to the college or work place environment.

Work placements

During the E2E programme young people will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience by taking part in voluntary work or attending a work placement.
